Harris Thermal Transfer Products was originally established as Harris Ice Machine Works. In the early days, we produced ammonia refrigeration systems, including compressors, evaporators, condensers, chillers, cold boxes and controls.
This early production of heat exchange equipment led naturally to our current emphasis on the design and manufacture of heat exchangers, pressure vessels and other custom industrial process equipment. Continued growth and emerging prominence in the industry resulted in the need for more office and manufacturing space. Thus, the move to the current location in 1991.
Harris can also provide complete packaged systems that will include structural, pumps, piping, electrical and controls to complement the heat exchangers, tanks and pressure vessels produced by Harris or other manufacturers.
We enjoy the talents of a highly qualified and versatile engineering staff employing the latest in computer technology. This combination of talent and technology achieves the desired result of superior design, short response time, competitive costs, and enhanced product quality.
Products produced include shell and tube heat exchangers, pressure vessels, fractionating columns, vacuum vessels, evaporators, condensers, storage tanks, autoclaves, vibratory mills, etc. Materials may be carbon steel, low alloy steel, high alloy steel (the various grades of stainless steel), nickel and high nickel alloys, copper alloys, titanium, zirconium and any other Code approved materials.
We maintain the West Coast's most experienced repair department for industrial process equipment.
